As an integrated company, we are uniquely positioned to offer you a wide range of career prospects and growth opportunities through the course of your career with us. We invite you to bring your ideas and help create sustainable solutions that improve quality of life and meet society’s evolving needs.

What role you will play in our team

Imperial is seeking a Procurement Contract Manager Associate to support critical business operations across Canada by managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving value through effective procurement strategies.

In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders, suppliers, and procurement colleagues to deliver cost-effective solutions, ensure continuity of supply, and support business objectives through sound commercial decision-making.

What you will do

  • Manage a portfolio of contracts and supplier relationships that support business operations.
  • Lead sourcing activities and contract negotiations to deliver value and mitigate risk.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop procurement solutions.
  • Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing data to support sourcing decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve cost, service, quality, and supplier performance.
  • Support the development and execution of category and procurement strategies.
  • Monitor contract compliance and manage contract amendments, renewals, and pricing updates.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve commercial and supply-related challenges.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, processes, and controls.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SCMP or similar procurement/supply chain designation.
  • Experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Mining, Manufacturing, or other industrial sectors.
  • Knowledge of purchase-to-pay processes and contract management practices.
  • Experience supporting capital projects, maintenance, operations, or materials procurement.

An Imperial career is one designed to last. Our commitment to you runs deep: our employees grow personally and professionally, with benefits built on our core categories of health, security, finance, and life. We offer you:

  • Competitive salary
