Your Role
As a Boat Rigger, you’ll work on a variety of outboard motors, servicing boats from some of the most respected names in the industry. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Mounting outboard motors
  • Routine Boat Servicing
  • Installation of electrical and mechanical components
  • Boat detailing
  • Assist with mechanical duties
  • General shop duties

What We’re Looking For

  • Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hand/power tools
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license; forklift certification is a plus
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Willingness to work in various physical conditions

Logistical Requirements

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with 30 minutes for lunch. On occasion, you may be required to work extended hours, including weekends, in order to meet deadlines based on the needs of the business. You will work out the Dueck Boats Service Centre located at 23280 Fraserwood Way in Richmond, BC.
