Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment.

Switching 53 ft trailers required

ALL local work across the GTA - no long distance

Duties

  • Safely operate trucks to transport freight to designated locations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel use, and any incidents.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding routes, schedules, and any issues that arise during transport.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to commercial driving.
  • Conduct minor automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.

Qualifications

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
  • 2 years experaince
  • AZ License
  • Experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with freight handling procedures and equipment operation.
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is preferred.
  • Basic automotive repair skills are a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
