Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Fuel Truck Swamper to join our team at North Star Contracting. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Fuel Truck Driver in delivering fuel, lube, and other fluids to various job sites, ensuring timely and safe delivery while upholding our commitment to quality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment in fuel trucks to deliver fluids and lubrication to various job sites and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during transportation.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs and invoices.
  • Communicate effectively with site managers and team members regarding delivery schedules.
  • Assist in loading and unloading materials as required.

Requirements

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred.
  • Willingness to learn in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and traffic laws.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment is an asset but not mandatory.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
