Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable, versatile, and safety-conscious team member to join our equipment rental team. This role is ideal for a "jack-of-all-trades" who enjoys a variety of responsibilities and is willing to learn. The successful candidate will assist with equipment deliveries, fuel and propane services, picker truck operation, customer service, and general equipment support.

Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate either fuel, propane, and picker trucks in a safe and professional manner.
• Delivery and pickup of rental equipment (heaters, pumps, etc.) at customer job sites in and around Calgary.
• Load, unload, secure, and transport equipment according to company procedures.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and complete required documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally on job sites.
• Follow all company safety policies, transportation regulations, and industry best practices.
• Assist other departments as required to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5Q driver's license with a 3-year clean driving record. Will need to provide abstract.
• Experience operating commercial vehicles, fuel trucks, propane trucks, or crane trucks is considered an asset, but willing to train.
• Knowledge of the equipment rental industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of the City and new communities an asset.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to take on a variety of tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to climb, bend, kneel, and perform physically demanding tasks as required.
