Full job description

Pacific Northwest Freight Systems

Edmonton, AB

Scheduled Monday to Friday, willingness to work the occasional weekend will be required. Follow routes, timing and schedules. Load, unload, prepare freight being picked up from various locations. Operate a pallet jack, Powerjack and Fork lift. Collect payments on COD shipments. Inspect/Maintain vehicle, report any/all required repairs to the equipment manager. Complete daily logs, vehicle reports and customer paperwork. Fuel Truck, follow safety regulations and standards.

Must be able to lift 50lbs. Climb in and out of Vehicle. Will require a full range of motion to be able to pick up freight and secure loads. Exposure to elements, be able to work outside all year round.

Able to work in a team environment, unsupervised. Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Must have a valid Class 1 license and no criminal record

Must follow all road laws and regulations, driver to road conditions and ensure all loads are secured properly.

Ensure all paperwork is legible and all the proper documentation/placards are in place when hauling dangerous goods.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
