About Us

Fresh Flavors Trading Ltd. is a Vancouver-based importer and wholesaler of tropical fruits and fresh produce, supplying customers across BC. We're a small team, and this role touches everything: the books, the paperwork that gets our shipments cleared, and coordination with the warehouse when loads come in.

What You'll Do:

Bookkeeping

● Accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, expense coding, bank reconciliations

● Enter and maintain records in Sage 50

Customs & Shipping

● Prepare, verify, and file import documentation for inbound shipments

● Coordinate with our customs broker and freight carriers on clearance and delivery

● Track shipments and follow up on delays, shortages, and discrepancies

Warehouse Support

● Assist with receiving: verifying incoming loads against paperwork and confirming counts

● Track and maintain inventory records, including stock levels and movements

● Maintain lot codes and traceability records

● Assist warehouse staff with outgoing shipments and deliveries, including preparing shipping paperwork and confirming orders before dispatch

Office

● Maintain organized digital and physical filing

● General office administration and support to management

What We're Looking For

● 3+ years of office administration and bookkeeping experience

● Hands-on experience with Sage 50

● Excellent computer skills, including strong Excel and Adobe

● Accurate, organized, and able to work independently

● Comfortable working in and around a warehouse environment

Customs experience is not required — we'll train you. If you're organized and pick things up quickly, we'll teach you the import documentation side.

Nice to have: familiarity with tropical and exotic fruits and vegetables; experience in produce, food distribution, or import/export; and familiarity with customs documentation or CFIA/SFCR requirements.

What We Offer

● $28.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience

● Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

● Free on-site parking
