Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your railway safety and engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and proactive teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our rail systems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (design, industrial, sourcing, validation), coordinate with RAMS contributors, and ensure compliance with safety and reliability standards, and much more.

We’ll look to you for:
-
Planning and managing RAMS activities and deliverables for your assigned projects or programs
-
Ensuring compliance with Alstom's RAMS processes and customer-specific requirements
-
Assessing and demonstrating the safety and reliability levels of Alstom products
-
Defining and tracking safety and reliability requirements to mitigate risks
-
Supporting stakeholders in implementing and documenting required measures
-
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on all RAMS-related matters
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
-
Degree in Electrical, Electro-mechanical, or a related Engineering field
-
Experience or understanding of railway safety analysis and RAM prediction methods
-
Knowledge of safety and reliability demonstration tools
-
Familiarity with railway products and systems
-
A relevant certification in safety or reliability engineering
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including working with customers
-
Time management and organizational skills
-
Fluency in French and English, both written and verbal
Things you’ll enjoy
Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:
-
Enjoy stability, challenges and a long-term career free from boring daily routines
-
Work with new safety and reliability standards for rail systems
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and supportive colleagues
-
Contribute to innovative projects that shape the future of mobility
-
Utilise our inclusive and flexible working environment
-
Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries
-
Benefit from our investment in your development, through award-winning learning
-
Progress towards leadership or technical expert roles
-
Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension)
