Full job description

Overview

We are looking for a friendly and creative photographer/videographer to help us capture photos and videos at different locations throughout Ottawa.

This is a flexible, project-based opportunity that may include social media content, promotional videos, interviews, business photography, and events. You do not need years of professional experience—we are open to students, newer creators, and anyone talented with a good camera.

You must have your own equipment and be able to arrange transportation to each location.

Responsibilities

  • Take clear, high-quality photos and videos
  • Travel to different businesses, venues, and event locations throughout Ottawa
  • Bring your own camera and any equipment needed for the assignment
  • Follow a simple project brief and capture the requested content
  • Provide basic editing when required
  • Deliver the finished content by the agreed deadline
  • Communicate clearly and arrive on time

Qualifications

  • Own a good-quality camera capable of taking professional-looking photos and videos
  • Have a reliable way to get to locations throughout Ottawa
  • Be dependable, creative, and easy to work with
  • Have basic photography, videography, or editing experience
  • Be able to provide examples of your work

Formal education and extensive professional experience are not required. If you enjoy creating great visual content and have the right equipment, we would love to hear from you.

Each assignment pays between $100 and $1000, depending on the project, location, time required, and deliverables. All details and payment will be confirmed before you accept an assignment.
