Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during visits. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient education and care.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
  • Utilize appropriate dental tools and techniques to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, including proper brushing and flossing techniques.
  • Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
  • Document patient treatments and maintain accurate records using Power Practice software.
  • Assist in the management of patient flow within the office to ensure efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any patient concerns or questions promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health regulations.

Qualifications

  • Valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry.
  • Experience with Power Practice or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
  • Background in pediatrics or orthodontics is a plus.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for enhanced patient communication.
  • Previous experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
