Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Label Press Operator with experience in operating and maintaining label printing presses. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of press mechanics, color management, and quality control standards to ensure quality output for our clients.

Duties

  • Set up, operate, and maintain flexographic label presses according to job specifications.
  • Review job orders and ensure accurate materials, inks, and substrates are prepared.
  • Monitor press during production to maintain color consistency, registration, and overall print quality.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate production records and report any discrepancies or issues.
  • Collaborate with production team to meet deadlines and optimize workflow efficiency.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1–3 years operating label presses (flexographic or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of press setup, color theory, and print quality standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret job tickets and technical specifications.
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills for press adjustments and repairs.
  • Familiarity with substrates, inks, and finishing processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods.
