About Roadway Traffic Supplies Ltd.

Roadway Traffic Supplies Ltd. is Atlantic Canada's leading certified traffic sign manufacturer and roadway safety supplier. Operating from our 10,000+ sq. ft. facility in Dieppe, NB, we supply municipalities, engineers, and contractors across the region with traffic signs, safety equipment, and roadway products that meet the highest compliance standards. We've been doing this for over 15 years — and we're still growing.

The Role

Traffic Sign Fabricator – Experienced Applicants Only

Do not apply unless you have direct, hands-on experience fabricating traffic signs.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate proficiency in traffic sign production, including sign layout, reflective sheeting application, mounting methods, fabrication standards, and production workflow.

We are not looking for someone who requires step-by-step training on the basics of the trade. We are looking for an experienced professional who can step into the role and contribute immediately.

During the interview process, candidates will be expected to explain and demonstrate their knowledge of traffic sign fabrication procedures, equipment, materials, and industry best practices.

Applicants without relevant experience in traffic sign manufacturing will not be considered.

We're looking for a skilled, hands-on Traffic Sign Maker / Warehouse Associate to join our production team. This is a fabrication-first role — you'll be working with industrial equipment to cut, punch, and produce traffic signs that end up on roads across Atlantic Canada. If you're comfortable in a shop environment, take pride in clean work, and know how to operate industrial tools safely, we want to hear from you.

This is not a forklift job. Forklift operation makes up a small portion of your duties (~5%) — the rest is skilled fabrication and production work.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Fabricating traffic signs using industrial shop equipment, including panel saws, hydraulic shears, and hydraulic punches
  • Operating various power tools safely and efficiently in a production environment
  • Applying reflective sheeting and graphics to sign blanks with precision
  • Reading and following work orders to produce signs to specification
  • Conducting quality checks to ensure finished products meet regulatory standards
  • Unloading inbound freight deliveries and verifying received product against purchase orders
  • Loading outbound orders for customer pickups, ensuring product is secure and accurate
  • Supporting general warehouse operations, including receiving, organizing, and shipping product
  • Operating a propane forklift as needed for material handling (~5% of role)
  • Keeping your work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards

What You Bring

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sign manufacturing, fabrication, or a hands-on shop environment
  • Demonstrated experience with industrial equipment (panel saw, hydraulic shear, hydraulic punch, or similar)
  • Comfort with power tools and a strong commitment to shop safety
  • Attention to detail — you understand that precision matters when products go on public roads
  • Ability to read and follow production work orders
  • Valid propane forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset
  • Dependable, team-oriented, and ready to show up and do the work

What We Offer

  • Competitive wage: $18.00 – $24.00/hr based on experience
  • Steady, year-round full-time hours — no seasonal layoffs
  • Group benefits package after 6 months
  • A stable, locally owned company with 15+ years in the region
  • A team that takes quality seriously
