- Project Oversight: Managing end-to-end project timelines, resources, and technical oversight independently.
- Client Communication & Reporting: Maintaining responsive, technical client communication and progress reporting through all stages of the project.
- Post-Planting Assessment: Conducting field-based monitoring of reforestation stock on reclamation sites.
- Administration: Project administration and other duties as assigned.
Competencies and Experience
- Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Forestry or a related Natural Resource Management discipline (must be registered or eligible for professional designation,).
- Experience: 3–5 years of field-based experience in silviculture or forestry, with thorough knowledge of Western Canadian forestry regulations, legislation, and reclamation criteria.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage a project from initial assessment through to field execution and final monitoring.
- Strong self-reliance and leadership qualities, with the ability to supervise subcontractors and manage moving parts in the field.
- Proven experience in seed/vegetative material collection, nursery stock production, and post-planting monitoring.
