Your Opportunity:
Working under the general direction of the area supervisor, the Administrative Support IV - Booking Clerk performs reception, bookings and other clerical duties for the Diagnostic Imaging department located at Foothills Medical Center. The individual will be required to assist with obtaining and maintaining all records associated with appointments and will work closely with other areas within the Diagnostic Imaging department including Radiologists and FMC units. This position may require extensive walking between several units that would require coverage throughout the shift. Must be able to work all shifts based on operational needs.

Additional Required Qualifications:
Medical Terminology Course required. It's Your Move and CPR certification required. Accurate and proficient keyboarding skills – must be able to type a minimum of 35 wpm. Absolute attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent knowledge of the English language both written and oral. Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional image, manage stressful situations with empathy and to remain calm, courteous, sensitive, and tactful. Demonstrated ability to work independently. Skilled at paying close attention to detail. Able to prioritize work and cope with frequent interruptions. Minimum 2 years of Diagnostic Imaging experience. Demonstrated proficiency in Windows (Word, Excel, Internet, and Email). Must be able to utilize dual monitors. Must be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs and push/pull 50 lbs. May assist healthcare providers with lifting or transferring patients and pushing stretchers. Preferred Qualifications:
DI Front Desk and Registration Basics Connect Care experience. Recognized Business/Clerical course desired. Previous electronic Diagnostic Imaging Scheduling experience preferred. Minimum 3 months' recent experience in a hospital or medical environment, involved in booking, reception, and clerical duties preferred.
