Driver & Kitchen Support – Catering Team

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys independence, takes pride in delivering great service, and doesn’t mind getting their hands a little dirty in the kitchen. Whether you’re a driver curious about culinary or a cook looking for a change of pace, this position offers the best of both worlds.

Role Overview

The primary responsibility of this position is the safe and timely delivery of food to events across the GTA, as well as surrounding regions such as Muskoka and Niagara. You will be responsible for loading and unloading catering orders, ensuring items arrive in perfect condition, and representing our company professionally with clients. A delivery vehicle will be provided.

During quieter periods, you will support the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, and assisting cooks with simple preparations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver catering orders to various event locations across the GTA and beyond
  • Load and unload food, equipment, and supplies with care and attention
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Ensure timely deliveries and maintain high presentation standards
  • Provide friendly and professional interactions with clients on-site
  • Assist kitchen staff with basic prep work during downtime
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and work areas

Experience & Qualifications

  • Clean driving record for a minimum of 5 years (required)
  • Previous kitchen or food service experience is an asset, but not required
  • Basic knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude
