Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Full-time Food Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering food orders efficiently and safely to shelters, ensuring a positive experience from order pickup to final drop-off.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a sprinter van as the delivery vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Pick up food orders from centralized kitchen location with precision and care.
  • Load, unload, and secure deliveries / coolers to drop off locations which are welfare shelters in GTA.
  • Navigate assigned routes efficiently using GPS or route maps to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and team members, providing excellent customer service during delivery interactions.
  • Manage multiple deliveries per shift while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Do other duties in the kitchen during down time or as needed only.
  • Perform vehicle inspections regularly and report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Handle heavy lifting tasks associated with moving items or equipment as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including timestamps and delivery confirmations.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in a similar logistics role is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s full G license with a clean driving record; experience operating commercial vehicles such as sprinter van is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks related to moving goods safely.
  • REQUIRED LANGUAGE : TAGALOG / UKRANIAN / RUSSIAN / SPANISH
  • Experience with load & unload procedures and managing multiple stops efficiently.
  • Basic navigation skills using GPS devices or mapping software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 – 50 per week
