About the Opportunity

We're seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and customer-focused Catering & Event Coordinator to join our Front of House team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a passion for hospitality. As one of the first points of contact for our clients, you'll help bring their events to life by guiding them through the planning process while coordinating with our kitchen, logistics, and service teams to ensure every detail is executed flawlessly.

No two days are the same, making this an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Your ability to stay organized, anticipate client needs, and provide exceptional customer service will help create outstanding experiences that keep clients returning to A Cappella Catering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person
  • Consult with clients to plan catered events and recommend menu and service options
  • Prepare quotes, event orders, contracts, and confirmations
  • Confirm event details and maintain accurate client records
  • Coordinate event logistics, including delivery, set-up, and equipment requirements
  • Work closely with our culinary team to ensure dietary restrictions and special requests are accommodated
  • Coordinate with our shipping and logistics team to ensure all food and non-food event items are prepared and delivered
  • Communicate event details and service expectations to our event staff
  • Perform general office and administrative duties
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while building lasting client relationships
  • Ensure every event reflects A Cappella Catering's commitment to excellence

What We're Looking For

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
  • ProServe Certification (or willingness to obtain)

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of experience in hospitality, catering, event coordination, customer service, or a related field
  • Previous catering or event planning experience is considered a strong asset
  • Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer experiences
