Saskatoon Public Schools is the largest school division in Saskatchewan, serving nearly 29,000 students with the support of more than 3,300 dedicated professional and support staff. Our division includes 48 elementary schools and 10 secondary schools, including a flexible learning program for artists and athletes, and a unique partnership school – Charles Red Hawk Elementary School located on Whitecap Dakota Nation.

SASKATOON PUBLIC SCHOOLS

SUBSTITUTE NUTRITION WORKERS

School nutrition programs are in place to improve the health and learning potential of students. The Nutrition Worker is responsible for providing healthy nutritious snacks and/or meals for students at the school.

Applicants must possess Grade X or equivalent, hold certification in a provincially recognized food safety course (i.e. FoodSafe) and have demonstrated safe food handling practices. Strong interpersonal and communication skills combined with the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential.
