Full job description

The Freight Shed Waterside Restaurant is seeking energetic, professional and guest - focused Food & Beverage Servers to join our team. Located on the beautiful Baddeck waterfront, we pride ourselves on delivering outstanding hospitality, exceptional food and memorable dining experiences. Successful candidates will provide attentive and friendly service while ensuring guests enjoy a welcoming and efficient dining experience.

Welcome guests and create a positive first impression

Present menus, answer questions, make food and beverage recommendations

Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders

Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally

Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to requests in a timely manner

Prepare and process bills and payments

Maintain a clean, organized, well stocked dining area

Assist with opening, closing and side duties as assigned

Follow food safety sanitation and liquor service regulations

Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members

Promote menu features, daily specials and restaurant events

Qualifications

Previous serving experience considered an asset

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Friendly professional and positive attitude

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Reliable, pinctual and team oriented

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

Valid Responsible Beverage Service certification (or willing to obtain)

Pay: $16.75 per hour
