Server – Ichigo Ichie Izakaya

Location: 360 Rue Rachel Est, Montréal, QC
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Salary: Competitive hourly compensation, including estimated tips

The advertised salary range includes base hourly wages and estimated tips. Actual tips may vary depending on sales and shifts.

Ichigo Ichie Izakaya is looking for friendly, energetic, and experienced Servers to join our front-of-house team.

Located in the heart of Montréal, Ichigo Ichie offers an authentic Japanese izakaya experience with a lively atmosphere, Japanese cuisine, and a wide selection of drinks.

We are looking for team-oriented individuals who are passionate about hospitality, attentive to details, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, attentive, and professional customer service.
  • Welcome guests, explain the menu, and provide recommendations.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately.
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining service standards.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen, bar, and other team members.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and service areas.
  • Handle payments and use the POS system accurately.
  • Respond professionally to guest requests and concerns.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties.
  • Support teammates to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant serving experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a busy environment.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and teamwork.
  • Good knowledge of food and beverage service.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to communicate in French and English.
  • Knowledge of Japanese cuisine, sake, or Japanese culture is an asset.
