Full job description

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our hospitality team at the Wellings of Stittsville. If you are passionate about what you do, enjoy being part of close knit and growing team and care about providing excellent customer service then we would love to hear from you!

About Wellings: Wellings is a vibrant new community for adults 55+ located in Stittsville. This award winning rental community features our signature atrium living concept, complete with dining room, café, and fully licensed pub.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Encouraging and ensuring a high level of customer service
  • Adhere to Steps of Service, and policies and procedures put in place by Management.
  • Answer any questions members may have regarding food and beverage services.
  • May be assigned to any other job function in the Wellings Community on a relief basis.
  • Adhering to pertinent health and safety regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the food and beverage industry.
  • Ability to work in a caring and considerate manner.
  • Must be able to perform in a high energy, positive and ever-changing work environment.
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain composure during possible emergency situations.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to support, practice and deliver to the Wellings Residents 100% of the time.
  • Willingness to learn and grow.
  • Must demonstrate high standards of ethics and personal accountability.
