Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and comply with relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of quality management systems and the ability to perform thorough inspections using various precision measuring instruments.

Duties

  • Conduct quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Food safety
  • Health and safety documentation
  • Utilize tools such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines to perform accurate measurements.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance processes in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, CGMP, and FDA regulations.
  • Perform quality audits and assist in the development of quality control procedures.
  • Analyze data collected during inspections to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain documentation related to quality control activities and ensure compliance with HACCP standards.
  • Operate vision inspection systems for automated quality assessments.

Skills

  • Proficient in using precision measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers.
  • Produce experience an asset
  • Strong understanding of quality systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, CGMP, HACCP, and FDA regulations.
  • Experience with quality audits and implementing QA/QC processes.
  • Excellent analysis skills for data collection and interpretation.
  • Familiarity with Calypso software for measurement analysis is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
