Locanda dell’orso is a vibrant dining establishment in Vancouver, renowned for its authentic Italian cuisine. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional culinary experiences while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Server to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing outstanding service to our customers, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly.
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items to enhance the dining experience.
  • Serve food and drinks to tables while ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their meal.
  • Handle cash and process payments using the POS system with accuracy.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
  • Assist in training new staff members on service standards and procedures.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a server role or similar position in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong customer service skills with a passion for providing excellent guest experiences.
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
  • Familiarity with POS systems is an asset, but not required.
