Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in delivering a positive, memorable customer experience through exceptional service. Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring their needs are met promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, promptly clearing tables.
  • Complete side duties ie.cutlery, sanitizing menus, stocking etc.
  • Set up tables, monitor reservations and ensure adequate seating
  • Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the highest quality of service.
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing and transactions.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
  • Handle busy periods effectively while maintaining quality service.
  • Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, change rooms and lounge/entrance way

Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in the hospitality industry is required
  • Smart Serve Certified required
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Time-management skills to maintain a prompt dining experience while completing side duties throughout shift
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
  • Familiarity with various drink recipes and food pairings for customer recommendations
  • Fine dining experience an asset
