We are seeking a reliable and dedicated part time Dishwasher to join our team at the Cucina. As a member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operations of our Italian restaurant.

Typical shifts are 4–6 hours, beginning between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. and ending at closing time (approximately 6:00–6:30 p.m.)

What You Will Do:

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment and ensure all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized in a timely manner.
• Assist in the preparation of ingredients and menu items, following recipes and portion control guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Empty and clean trash receptacles regularly to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the proper handling, storage, and disposal of food products.
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Assist in other areas of the restaurant as needed, such as food delivery, stocking supplies, or assisting with food service.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to address any issues or concerns promptly.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.

What You Have:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or food service environment.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Good English communication skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to start between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. and ending at closing time (approximately 6:00–6:30 p.m.).

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
