Position Overview – Warehouse Associate

As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations. You will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming goods while ensuring accuracy and safety in all warehouse procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and verify incoming goods to support daily warehouse operations
  • Unload and inspect deliveries for accuracy and quality; input data into the Navision (Business Central) system
  • Perform daily tasks such as order picking, inventory monitoring, and stock transfers between departments
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
  • Operate forklifts and pallet movers in a safe and efficient manner
  • Adhere to all standard operating procedures in both fresh and freezer warehouse environments

Working Conditions:

  • Work takes place in both fresh and freezer warehouse environments
  • Shift work is required
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Qualifications:

  • Minimum six (6) months of experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment, preferably in the food industry
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid Forklift Operator Certificate (Counterbalance and Pallet Mover)
  • Valid Class 5 Canadian Driver’s License with a clean record
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet applications; experience with ERP systems such as Business Central is an asset
  • Physically capable of repetitive heavy lifting (frequently up to 30 lbs, occasionally up to 100 lbs)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform basic math for inventory tracking
