Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food service experience, and a passion for hospitality. This role involves managing staff, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the restaurant environment. The Restaurant Manager will play a key role in fostering a positive work culture and delivering memorable dining experiences for guests.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving processes.
  • Manage and train staff, including interviewing and onboarding new team members.
  • Oversee food handling, safety protocols, and ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Utilize POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
  • Lead team management efforts to motivate staff, improve performance, and maintain high service standards.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through attentive service, resolving complaints promptly, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and quality control.
  • Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and manage restaurant resources efficiently.
  • Uphold cleanliness standards in all areas of the restaurant, including kitchen and dining spaces.
  • Assist in developing marketing strategies to promote the restaurant’s offerings.

Skills

  • Proven experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality industry roles.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience supervising teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
  • Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities including interviewing, team management, and operational oversight.
  • Experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with hotel or barista experience is a plus but not required.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to lead by example in a team-oriented setting.
