Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Part-Time Delivery Driver to join our team. ZipCity is a fast-growing corporate catering delivery company based in Toronto. We partner with some of the city's best local restaurants to deliver fresh, high-quality meals directly to corporate offices, law firms, banks, and Fortune 500 companies across the city.

We're a tight-knit team that moves fast, takes pride in our service, and treats our drivers well. If you're reliable, presentable, and looking for flexible work that fits around your schedule — this might be exactly what you're looking for.

Responsibilities

  • Pick up catering orders from restaurant partners and deliver to corporate clients on time and with care
  • Handle food trays, cambro containers, and insulated bags safely during transport. Pickup additional delivery equipment from our storage unit if necessary.
  • Represent ZipCity professionally at every client location — you're the face of the brand on delivery. Wear Company Badge at all times while on duty.
  • Follow delivery instructions per order and confirm successful dropoff via our driver group / delivery app
  • Communicate promptly with the team if any issues arise during pickup or delivery
  • Maintain a clean, presentable appearance on every shift
  • Occasionally assist with setup of catering trays at client location when required

Skills

  • Experience in food delivery is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
  • Valid G / G2 drivers license
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
  • Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws

What We Offer

  • $25 base pay per shift (single delivery) — guaranteed every time you work
  • Tips $ on top of base pay
  • Performance bonuses $ based punctuality, reliability, and customer service
  • Flexible schedule
  • Short shifts — typically done by noon or 1pm
  • A supportive, communicative team that respects your time
  • Room to grow as the company scales — we're expanding fast
  • Drivers are paid weekly every Tuesday via e-transfer (cash) as independent contractors — no payroll delays, no waiting around

We're not Uber Eats. You're not chasing orders or competing for rides. Every shift is organized in advance, every client is corporate, and every driver is treated as part of the team.

Pay: $25.00-$60.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • Discounted or free food
  • Flexible schedule
  • Flextime
  • On-site parking
