    • Manage shipping and customs documentation for cross border deliveries.
    • Work hours vary based on delivery volumes and schedules.
    • Include but are not limited to.
    • Ensure efficient food preparation, customer service, and food safety.
    • Manage inventory and food costs.
    • Passionate about food and hospitality.
    • A clean driver’s abstract.
    • Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
    • Experience in a customer service-related role.

Award winning Railtown Café and Catering is looking for hardworking and reliable individuals to join our team!

As our Corporate Catering Delivery Driver, you will be working in a friendly, supportive, and fast-growing company while providing exceptional food and service to a wide variety of corporate clients. We have both a full-time and part-time opening:

Responsibilities:

● Delivery of food and drink to cafés for morning and lunch service
● Load and unload delivery items and equipment
● Delivery of catering orders to clients in a timely manner
● Provide engaging and excellent service to clients
● Travelling in Metro Vancouver and surrounding areas

Qualifications:

● Must possess a valid class-5 BC driver's license with a clean driving record
● Customer service experience as this is a service oriented, customer facing position
● Ability to work independently without supervision
● Ability to effectively manage time and meticulous with details and deadlines
● Strong communication skills with customers and colleagues
● Able to remain calm and positive under pressure
● Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
● Knowledge of Vancouver streets, avenues, and alleys, particularly the downtown core
● Serving-it-Right Certificate and/or Food Safe Level 1 is considered an asset but not required

Schedule:

● Full-time and Part-time available
● Monday to Friday with potential for overtime weekend hours
