For over 180 years, Freybe has been crafting premium European-style meats and gourmet food products that Canadians know and love. We are currently seeking a reliable, customer-focused, and energetic Delivery / Merchandiser to join our Sales Team and help bring our products to customers throughout the Lower Mainland.

What You'll Do

Delivery (60%)

  • Organize and load customer orders into company delivery vehicles using pallet jacks, dollies, and manual lifting techniques.
  • Safely operate Freybe delivery vehicles and perform daily vehicle inspections.
  • Deliver products accurately and on schedule while maintaining food safety and quality standards.
  • Unload products at customer locations and ensure deliveries are received properly.
  • Communicate any food safety or quality concerns to management promptly.

Merchandising & Customer Service (20%)

  • Unpack and merchandise products according to company standards.
  • Restock shelves and display cases while ensuring proper stock rotation.
  • Monitor product freshness and best-before dates.
  • Maintain attractive product displays and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Build positive relationships with customers and provide outstanding service.

Communication & Teamwork (10%)

  • Work closely with Territory Sales Managers to support customer needs.
  • Maintain effective communication and share relevant market information.
  • Assist with team projects and recommend process improvements.

Food Safety & Quality (5%)

  • Follow all HACCP and SQF requirements and procedures.
  • Participate in food safety training and support compliance initiatives.

Health & Safety (5%)

  • Follow all company safety policies and WorkSafeBC regulations.
  • Report safety concerns, incidents, and injuries promptly.
  • Participate in ongoing health and safety training.

What You Bring

  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract and excellent driving habits.
  • Experience driving delivery vehicles and knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems on the go.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 15 kg (33 lbs) regularly and work in and out of delivery vehicles throughout the day.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
  • Knowledge of grocery, food service, or merchandising operations is considered an asset.
