Courtyard by Marriott Brampton is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of The Bistro, Banquet Department, Market, and all Food & Beverage outlets. What You'll Do

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of The Bistro, Banquet Department, Market, and all Food & Beverage outlets.
  • Recruit, train, coach, schedule, and develop Food & Beverage associates.
  • Ensure exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Maintain Marriott brand standards and ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
  • Oversee banquet operations, ensuring the successful execution of meetings, conferences, weddings, and special events.
  • Manage labour scheduling, inventory, purchasing, and departmental expenses while maintaining cost controls.
  • Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef and Sales team to ensure seamless event planning and execution.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, payroll approval, and financial reporting.
  • Support departmental initiatives that improve guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, health and safety standards, Smart Serve regulations, and applicable legislation.
  • Perform Manager-on-Duty responsibilities as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2–3 years of leadership experience in Food & Beverage within a hotel environment.
  • Previous Marriott experience is considered a strong asset.
  • Experience managing banquet operations and high-volume food service.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities.
  • Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
  • Experience with scheduling, labour management, inventory control, purchasing, and budgeting.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
  • Smart Serve Certification (or ability to obtain).
  • Food Handler Certification is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with hotel POS and PMS systems is considered an asset.
  • Must be flexible to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as business levels require.
