Full job description

Overview

We're looking for an experienced florist to join our team. You'll design and build arrangements from start to finish, keep our flowers and displays looking their best, and help customers find exactly what they need — whether they're picking up a hand-tied bouquet or planning something bigger.

What You'll Do

Design and assemble fresh floral arrangements, bouquets, and event pieces

Fill daily online and walk-in orders accurately and on time

Process incoming flowers: unpacking, cleaning, conditioning, and rotating stock

Serve walk-in customers and take custom orders in person and by phone

Keep the studio, coolers, and workbenches clean, stocked, and display-ready

Help with delivery prep

What We're Looking For

Minimum 1 year of hands-on floral design experience (retail flower shop, event florist, or studio)

Solid knowledge of fresh flowers, care and conditioning, and seasonal availability

A good eye for colour, shape, and balance

Comfortable working quickly during busy periods (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, wedding season)

Friendly, reliable, and able to work independently

Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Legally entitled to work in Canada

Nice to Have

Floral design certificate or formal training

Wedding and event floral experience

Experience with POS systems or online order platforms

Additional languages an asset

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week

Work Location: In person
