Are you passionate about creating unforgettable event experiences? VintageBash is looking for dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to join our team of Event Staff in Toronto. As a premier event planning and rental company, we specialise in curating extraordinary events that leave a lasting impression.

Duties and Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring the seamless execution of events from start to finish. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be responsible for:

  • Collaborate with the event planning team to assist in coordinating, designing, and producing events for clients and sister companies.
  • Perform event-related tasks such as site visits, coordination, setup, cleanup, and tear-down
  • Handle appointments, emails, and calls efficiently, providing timely responses and client assistance.
  • Assist walk-in clients, appointments, and maintenance inquiries
  • Manage orders and bookings, from paperwork processing to preparation and packaging, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain inventory through organisation, tracking, monitoring, and reporting, ensuring proper storage and handling of decor items, tools, and equipment.
  • Aid in general office maintenance and cleaning to uphold professionalism and efficiency.
  • Ensure all decor items, tools, and equipment are returned clean and properly stored after events.
  • Assist in the kitchen with food preparation and presentation during events, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
  • Undertake all other event-related assignments for the company, clients, and sub-brands, including crafting, floral design, balloon decorating, painting, and more.

Qualifications

  • High school or college diploma
  • Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, or customer service is an asset
  • Must possess an enthusiastic and outgoing personality
  • Highly reliable with a strong commitment to on-time performance
  • Able to work well independently, demonstrating initiative in problem-solving and self-motivation to achieve goals effectively
  • Possesses strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Capable of multitasking and prioritising tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication abilities to coordinate with team members and clients
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and environments
  • Ability to lift and move items as needed for inventory management and event support assignments
  • Access to a laptop, smartphone, and high-speed internet for work-related tasks, including communication, scheduling, and administrative duties
  • Must have safety shoes required for on-site support tasks
