Full job description

Garage Cabinet & Slatwall Installer – Tri-Cities (Port Coquitlam Based)
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Paid Travel Time | Benefits

We’re hiring 2 experienced installers who want steady work, better environments, and the opportunity to expand into specialty flooring systems.

Garage Living Vancouver builds high-end garage spaces across the Lower Mainland. Custom cabinetry. Slatwall systems. Polyaspartic floor coatings. Real craftsmanship in finished homes — not muddy sites.

This is skilled work. Precision work. Work you can stand behind.

Check out our team and projects: http://instagram.com/garagelivingvancouver/

What You’ll Love:

  • Monday to Friday schedule
  • 6:30am – 3:00pm (starting and ending at our Port Coquitlam warehouse)
  • Paid travel time from the warehouse to job site(s)
  • Benefits package
  • Consistent indoor work environment year-round
  • Cross-training in polyaspartic & epoxy flooring
  • Professional, culture-first team environment

If you want variety instead of the same job site for months, this is it.

What You’ll Do:

  • Install garage cabinetry and slatwall systems with precision
  • Read and execute scope of work accurately—no guesswork
  • Assist and train in polyaspartic/epoxy floor coating applications
  • Maintain clean, organized, controlled job sites
  • Identify issues early and troubleshoot efficiently
  • Communicate clearly with the team Installation Manager, and Operations Manager
  • Deliver a polished, respectful experience in clients’ homes
  • Potential to explore new skills like installing car lifts and other specialty skills

We work in premium homes. Cleanliness, detail, and attitude matter just as much as tool skills.

What You Bring:

  • Based in the Tri-Cities (or within ~15km)
  • Valid driver’s license + reliable vehicle (required)
  • 2+ years hands-on construction or trades experience
  • Strong proficiency with hand and power tools (skill saw, chop saw, jig saw, etc.)
  • Confidence working independently
  • Physically capable (lifting 50 lbs, full-day movement)
  • Detail-oriented—you notice alignment, finish, and fit
  • Professional and customer-aware in occupied homes
  • Reliable, consistent, and takes ownership of your work

Construction or trades experience is required — as long as you meet our requirements and eager to learn, we’ll train the right person.

If you cut corners, struggle with punctuality, or need constant supervision, this won’t be a fit.

Who Thrives Here:

Someone who:

  • Take pride in clean, finished work
  • Move with purpose
  • Think ahead instead of waiting to be told
  • Want long-term stability
  • Want to build valuable trade skills
  • Enjoy working indoors in professional environments

We are hiring 2 committed tradespeople — not a revolving door.

If you’re ready for steady work, better projects, and a team that values quality — apply today.

Garage Living Vancouver is a family owned and operated business that is experiencing significant growth in the market as more and more people become aware of the garage as an opportunity for additional finished space in the home. In today's market, maximizing square footage adds huge value to your home.
