Job Summary

The Flooring Project Manager is responsible for building and strengthening relationships that drive business growth for Beyond Flooring. In this role, you will cultivate a strong pipeline of project opportunities, deliver accurate estimates, and oversee jobs from initial scope through final completion, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and partners at every stage.

Job Responsibilities

  • Attending new flooring claims and explain the restoration process to the client.
  • Completing on-site measurements and estimates for mitigation or new flooring.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to insurance stakeholders, homeowners and property managers.
  • Being proactive in resolving customer service issues.
  • Liaising with appropriate departments and sub-trades to ensure that work is completed on time, on budget and meets Beyond Flooring quality standards.
  • Liaising with appropriate departments, sub-trades, homeowners and adjusters on the status of work.
  • Inspecting progress and work quality throughout the project lifespan.
  • Working with assigned Project Manager to ensure all administrative aspects of the jobs are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Building and maintaining relationships by meeting adjusters on jobs, providing timely and accurate estimates and billings.
  • Preparing accurate job costing and estimating, ensuring target margins are met.
  • Helping with walk-in customers for retail needs.

Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in inside flooring sales is considered a strong asset.
  • Proven experience in account management is required.
  • 4–5 years of experience in flooring sales is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ICC (Insurance Claims Collaborative) procedures and standards is an asset.
  • Basic understanding of restoration processes is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Valid British Columbia driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Clear criminal background relevant to the scope of work.
  • Demonstrated excellence in delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and mobile technology.
  • Strong business development acumen and sound financial management skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Compensation

Salary: $65,000 - $150,000 per year (based on experience).

Please note that this salary is based on a mix of base salary and commission. High-performing individuals who excel at relationship building, sales, and project management have the opportunity to significantly exceed the stated compensation range.
