The Company


B2Gold is a responsible international senior gold producer headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Founded in 2007, today, B2Gold has operating gold mines in Mali, Namibia and the Philippines, the Goose Project under construction in northern Canada, and numerous development and exploration projects in various countries including Mali, Colombia and Finland.


Position


Travel & Accommodations Coordinator, Edmonton.


Location and Reporting Structure


Reporting to the Team Lead, Logistics Coordinator, this position is based in Edmonton, AB.


Responsibilities


  • Coordinate travel and accommodation (flights, camps, hotels, ground transportation) in line with operational needs.
  • Manage bookings, itineraries, and traveler information, and ensuring accuracy across all arrangements.
  • Track personnel movements, rotations, accommodation usage, and maintain records and reporting on travel activity and costs.
  • Communicate travel updates and manage changes, disruptions, and travel-related issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, site operations, and vendors to ensure seamless travel logistics and system coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies while supporting budgeting, invoicing, and process improvements.


Desired Competencies and Requirements


  • Three (3) years of experience in travel coordination, logistics, or a similar operational support role, preferably supporting remote or rotational workforces (e.g., exploration, mining, or field operations).
  • Post-secondary diploma in logistics, business administration, travel management, or related field. Related experience may be considered.
  • Certifications such as Travel and Tourism Diploma/Certificate, Global Distribution Systems (GDS) training (e.g., Sabre, Amadeus), Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation or coursework, and safety certifications including WHMIS, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG), and Occupational First Aid (OFA) considered an asset.
  • Proficiency with travel booking systems, reservation platforms, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to obtain and retain an Airport Restricted Area Identity Card in accordance with the Airport Restricted Area Access Clearance Program regulated by Transport Canada.


Compensation and Benefits


For informational purposes, the hourly rate for the role is $45.50
