Infrastructure Operations Lead

Location: Oshawa, ON (Travel between Oshawa, Pickering & surrounding sites as required)
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: CAD $70,000 – $80,000 per year (based on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Operations Lead to support the day-to-day management of our facilities and infrastructure operations. This role is responsible for ensuring business continuity, coordinating capital projects, managing vendor relationships, overseeing building operations, and supporting health & safety initiatives across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the management of facilities and infrastructure operations.
  • Coordinate capital infrastructure projects and vendor activities.
  • Assist with business continuity planning and infrastructure strategy.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance and building systems, including HVAC, BAS, electrical, and access control.
  • Manage facilities databases, security systems, and access controls.
  • Support lease management, procurement, and contract renewals.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
  • Coordinate contractors and building maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to improve infrastructure services.
  • Support special projects and operational initiatives as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in facilities, infrastructure, or operations management, preferably within healthcare or a non-profit environment.
  • Experience coordinating projects and managing vendors.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC systems, fire systems, building automation systems (BAS), and occupational health & safety standards.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of procurement and tendering processes (RFP, RFQ, RFI).
  • Valid Ontario driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
