Full job description

Doc Morgan's on Bowen Island is looking for experienced line cooks to join our team. Must have experience on busy line - pan work and deep fryers. Must be organized, able to work at fast pace, efficient, good knife skills. Great kitchen tip pool.

We are located in Snug Cove on Bowen Island a 20-minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay, West Vancouver. (no car needed on Bowen Island)

Must be able to currently work in Canada please DO NOT apply if not legal to work in Canada already!

Summary

As a Line Cook, you will be integral to our kitchen team, responsible for food preparation, cooking, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Reporting to the Head Chef, your role involves utilizing your skills in meal preparation and food service to deliver high-quality dishes. Your experience in the restaurant and food industry will enhance our operations, while your ability to serve will elevate the dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are followed during food preparation and service.
  • Assist in meal preparation and presentation to meet customer expectations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and timely meal delivery.
  • Handle food items safely and responsibly, adhering to all industry regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
