Big Hearts First Aid is a rapidly growing, quality-focused Red Cross training partner looking for dedicated and dynamic instructors to join our team. We pride ourselves on delivering engaging, supportive, and high-standard training to clients across Alberta.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable First Aid Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching first aid and CPR courses to individuals of various ages. This role requires a passion for education, strong communication skills, and the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
The First Aid Instructor will also be responsible for ensuring that all participants understand the material and can apply their knowledge in real-life situations.
Key Duties
As a certified instructor, your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver comprehensive first aid and CPR training sessions tailored to diverse audiences
- Assess students' understanding of the material through practical demonstrations and written evaluations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of first aid protocols and emergency response techniques.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages participation and engagement.
- Provide feedback and support to students, helping them improve their skills and confidence.
- Collaborate with other instructors to enhance course offerings and share best practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and organizational standards during training sessions.
Required Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates who also hold one or more of the following:
- Current Canadian Red Cross First Aid Instructor Certification.
- Red Cross Standard First Aid Certification
Help with training and certification will be provided.
Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
