About Lifeline
Lifeline Fire Protection has protected buildings across the GTA for over 25 years. We are a Great Place To Work® Certified company with a dedicated Fire Alarm Division, and we’re looking for a senior technician who takes ownership of the work and raises the bar for the team.

What you’ll do

  • Perform and certify annual CAN/ULC-S536 inspections and CAN/ULC-S537 verifications
  • Install, program, commission and upgrade addressable fire alarm panels
  • Diagnose and resolve complex faults: ground faults, open circuits, and communication and network issues
  • Read and work from blueprints, schematics and riser diagrams
  • Lead projects on site and coordinate with contractors, property managers and inspectors
  • Mentor and train junior technicians
  • Deliver clear, accurate digital reports on time
  • Participate in an on-call rotation

What you bring

  • Current CFAA Technician registration (required)
  • 5+ years of hands-on fire alarm experience, including S536/S537 sign-off
  • Programming experience with major panels (e.g., Edwards/EST, Notifier, Mircom, Simplex)
  • Strong working knowledge of the Ontario Fire Code and CAN/ULC standards
  • Valid Ontario G licence with a clean driver’s abstract
  • Strong communication skills with clients, property managers and inspectors
