Summary

We are seeking a talented Line Cookto join our culinary team at BoxerKitchen & Bar in Edmonton. This role is essential in ensuring the preparation of high-quality dishes that align with our mission of providing an outstanding dining experience. Your contributions will directly impact our guests' satisfaction and the overall success of our restaurant.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed.
  • Assist in menu planning and food preparation as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies.
  • Participate in training new kitchen staff as required.
  • Uphold the restaurant's standards for quality and presentation.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook in a fast-paced environment for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience on the grill and pizza station considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with fine dining standards is a plus.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
