Job Type: Full-Time

Who We Are

At Fork + Farm Catered Events, we don't just cater; we craft unforgettable guest experiences through innovative, scratch-made food and service excellence. We are fiercely committed to using locally sourced products and investing in our team’s growth through ongoing education. If you love food, hate monotony, and want to lead, you’ll fit right in.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced, confident Chef de Partie who is ready to step up. This isn't just a "behind the line" job. You will be a key player in our main kitchen and the face of our culinary team on-site at incredible events.

If you are passionate about from-scratch cooking, thrive in dynamic environments, and have the confidence to lead an off-site event when the spotlight is on, we want to talk to you.

What Your Week Looks Like

  • The Best of Both Worlds: A healthy mix of structured in-kitchen prep and high-energy off-site event execution.
  • Better Balance: Primarily daytime hours (Monday to Friday) for prep, with evening and weekend availability required for executing events.
  • Diverse Tasks: From daily prep and executing client tastings to packing event trucks and leading teams on-site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Line (and the Event): Own the preparation, execution, and plating of high-end catered events, ensuring our standards of creativity and consistency are always met.
  • Kitchen Operations: Support daily kitchen prep, cooking strictly according to recipes, portion controls, and specifications.
  • Maintain Excellence: Uphold impeccable food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards both in our main kitchen and in mobile event kitchens.
  • Equipment & Logistics: Safely operate kitchen equipment and assist with event pack-outs.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of professional cooking experience in high-volume catering or upscale/fine-dining environments.
  • Leadership: At least 1 year of experience guiding or supervising others in a kitchen setting.
  • Drive: A Class 5 Driver’s License (you'll need to drive to some event locations).
  • Adaptability: The ability to keep your cool, think on your feet, and maintain a professional demeanor under pressure in various settings.
  • Communication: Sharp communication skills to collaborate with the kitchen team and chat with front-of-house staff or clients at events.

Perks & Benefits

  • On-site parking
  • Ongoing culinary education and professional development
  • A supportive, fast-paced, and genuinely rewarding team culture
