Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team for the 2026 season. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality in our restaurant. Your expertise in food handling and preparation will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
  • Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure safe food handling practices.
  • Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours.
  • Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols.
  • Participate in menu planning and development, providing input based on seasonal ingredients.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment used in the kitchen.
  • A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals for guests.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
