Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent knife skills, and experience in fine dining or restaurant environments. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the overall kitchen operations to ensure a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure freshness and variety
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage
  • Ensure all food safety regulations are followed diligently
  • Support food presentation to meet aesthetic standards for fine dining
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
  • Assist with catering events and special meal preparations as needed
  • Serve dishes efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards

Requirements

  • Previous experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus
  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings
  • Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
  • Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation
  • Experience with menu planning, catering, and serving is desirable
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Culinary experience or background in the food industry preferred
  • Knowledge of food industry standards and kitchen operations
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays if required
