Our real estate team is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Staging Assistant to join us on a contract basis. In this role, you will work directly with our staging lead to transform properties and prepare them to hit the market looking their absolute best.

  • Because our staging needs depend on our active listings, this position offers excellent flexibility—perfect for freelancers, design students, or anyone looking for supplemental, project-based income.

This position is on an "as-needed basis" with no guaranteed hours.

Hour rate is $25/hour - $40/hour, based on design qualifications and skills.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design & Styling: Assist with packing, unpacking, arranging, and styling furniture, decor, artwork, and accessories to maximize a home's appeal.
  • Hands-on Labor: Move, lift, and arrange lightweight furniture, rugs, and decor boxes (with assistance for heavier items).
  • Property Prep: Ensure the home looks pristine before listing photos (fluffing pillows, hanging art, minor adjustments).
  • De-staging: Help collect and pack up staging material for movers to take back to storage.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Creative Eye: Background or experience in interior design, home staging, visual merchandising, fine arts, or a related creative field is highly preferred.
  • Physical Capability: This is an active role. You must be comfortable with light physical labor, including lifting and moving items, bending, and being on your feet.
  • Reliable Transportation: You will need a dependable vehicle to travel to various property locations across the Toronto area.
  • Strong Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and possesses great attention to detail.

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
