Job Overview

We are seeking a driven, analytical, and fully licensed Servicing Investment Advisor to join our Montreal-based wealth management team. This role is designed for a professional who is genuinely passionate about the stock market, enjoys deep-dive security analysis, and thrives in a fast-paced trading environment.

In this role, you will be directly responsible for the daily execution of investment strategies, including buying, selling, and rebalancing client portfolios. Your compensation will directly scale with your performance and contribution to the firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Management: Execute daily trades, buy/sell orders, and systematic portfolio rebalancing across diverse client accounts.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct ongoing research and analysis of stocks, ETFs, and market trends to support portfolio strategies.
  • Compliance & Administration: Maintain strict adherence to CIRO regulations, ensuring all trading activities are fully compliant and accurately documented.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate on asset allocation adjustments and proactive portfolio positioning based on market conditions.

  • CIRO Licensed: You must hold an active CIRO license with authorization to trade stocks and ETFs. OR
  • CSC Completion: You must have already passed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC).
  • Citizenship: You must be a Canadian citizen.
  • Location: This is a strictly in-office position located at our Montreal office. Remote or hybrid arrangements are not available.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a relevant quantitative background focused on the financial markets.
  • Market Passion: A demonstrable obsession with the stock market, trading mechanics, and investment analysis.
  • Attributes: Strong analytical mindset, sharp attention to detail under pressure, and a proactive work ethic.
