Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Cashier and Customer Service representative to join our retail team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing excellent service to customers, managing transactions accurately, stock up inventory, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual skills and experience with retail sales or merchandising are highly valued to enhance customer interactions and support diverse clientele. Hindi, Punjabi or Filipino speaking candidates will be preferred.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases
• Operate POS systems efficiently for cash, credit, and digital transactions
• Handle cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity
• Provide product demos and technical sales support when applicable
• Upsell products and promote ongoing promotions to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure product availability
• Answer customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers during busy periods
• Ensure the checkout area remains clean, organized, and welcoming
• Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed

Skills

• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
• Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and basic math skills for transaction accuracy
• Customer service orientation with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Ability to perform product demos and explain technical features confidently
• Organizational skills to manage time efficiently during peak hours
• Merchandising knowledge to enhance product presentation
• Sales skills including upselling and promotional techniques
• Phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally over the phone or via digital communication platforms
• Multilingual capabilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively
• Basic understanding of retail sales processes and cash handling procedures

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
