HALINÁ brings the heart and soul of Filipino cuisine to Vancouver, and we're looking for a dedicated Prep/Third Cook (Morning Shift) to join our culinary team. In this role, you'll prepare fresh ingredients, support kitchen operations, and assist with cooking and plating during service to help deliver an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities:

• Open and set up the kitchen for daily operations
• Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, portioning, marinating, and following standardized recipes
• Assist with cooking, plating, and maintaining quality during service
• Keep prep and line stations clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Label, store, and rotate ingredients using FIFO practices
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
• Complete cleaning, restocking, and other kitchen duties as assigned

Requirements

• Food Safe Level 1 certification (required)
• Previous kitchen experience (required)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen
