Role Summary

Do you enjoy working with your hands, solving problems and learning new technologies?
As a Telecommunications Technician, you'll install and repair residential Internet, Fibe TV and Home Phone services while helping customers stay connected to what matters most.
Whether you have telecommunications experience or not, we'll provide the paid training and support needed to help you succeed. You'll develop valuable technical skills, work independently, and benefit from opportunities to grow your career with Bell.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a Bell ambassador by delivering an exceptional customer experience and ensuring customer expectations are met.
  • Install and repair services on Bell's fibre optic and copper networks.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues using your knowledge, tools and company-provided equipment.
  • Work independently while collaborating with team members to support shared goals.
  • Promote Bell products and services by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Follow all health, safety and operational policies and procedures.

Critical Qualifications

  • Valid Québec Class 5 driver's licence (probationary or regular).
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week, including days, evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift, carry and move equipment weighing up to 70 lbs. Training on safe lifting techniques will be provided.
  • Ability to work at heights, including climbing ladders up to 28 feet and can support a maximum of 325 lbs.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Comfortable using technology and learning new systems and tools.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn and commitment to working safely.

Additional Information

Position Type : Unionized.
Employment Status : Regular part time, part-time.
Workplace : Montreal
Schedule : Availability to work 40 hours per week (days, evenings, and weekends).
