Job Overview
Join the team at A&W Restaurants as a Crew Member, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth restaurant operations. This position offers an engaging environment for individuals passionate about the food industry, providing opportunities to develop valuable skills in food preparation, sanitation, and customer interaction. As a Crew Member, you will be the friendly face that creates a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while supporting daily restaurant functions.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
  • Operate POS systems for accurate order processing and cash handling.
  • Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing guest needs promptly.
  • Handle food safely by following sanitation and food safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Manage cashier duties including processing payments, giving change, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces in compliance with sanitation standards.
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

Experience and requirements :

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
  • Candidates should possess strong customer service skills, good communication abilities, and the capacity to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, and overnight shifts, is an asset.
  • Reliable transportation is preferred. Candidates with access to a vehicle will be given additional consideration.

Pay: $18.25-$18.40 per hour
