Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Unfortunately, we do not provide staff accommodation, and candidates must be present in the Canmore area.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans following health and safety standards.
  • Operate dishwashing machines efficiently to ensure timely cleaning of kitchenware.
  • Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen team.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and equipment.
  • Help organize and store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas.
  • Support cooks and other kitchen staff by providing necessary tools and equipment during food service.
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene in the kitchen environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
  • Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items (up to 25 pounds).
