AZ/DZ Truck Driver – Local Feed Delivery

Location: Thorndale, ON
Job Type: Full-Time – 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Country Mills is a growing agricultural company proudly serving farmers and rural communities across Southwestern Ontario. We are looking for a dependable, safety-focused AZ Truck Driver to join our team delivering bulk animal feed and agricultural products to our customers.

What You'll Do

As an AZ/DZ Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of bulk animal feed and agricultural products to farms and customers throughout Southwestern Ontario.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Safely operating bulk feed trucks and tri-axle trailers.
  • Delivering animal feed and agricultural products within approximately a 100 km radius.
  • Loading and unloading bulk feed products.
  • Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Maintaining accurate delivery documentation.
  • Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely, professionally, and on schedule.
  • Keeping your truck clean and well-maintained.
  • Providing courteous, professional customer service at delivery locations.
  • Following all company safety policies and transportation regulations.

What We're Looking For

You are a reliable, hardworking driver who values safety, works well independently, and understands the importance of serving the agricultural community.

You'll also need:

  • Minimum 3 years of AZ/DZ driving experience in Canada with similar heavy truck.
  • Letter of driving experience from previous employer(s).
  • Clean CVOR and driver's abstract.
  • Intermediate proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Accurately complete receiving & delivery documentation.
  • Experience operating manual transmission trucks.
  • Experience hauling grain and operating tri-axle trailers.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs) bags of feed.
  • Strong commitment to safety and equipment care.
  • Excellent work ethic and reliability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Farming or agricultural background.
  • Experience delivering feed or agricultural products.
